Old fashioned barn raising with a modern twist at Lang Pioneer Village this weekend

Lan Pioneer Village is inviting the community to and old fashioned barn raising with a modern twist on Sunday April 2, 2017.

You can watch the walls of the Peterborough County Agricultural Heritage Building go up piece by piece thanks to the hard work of Fleming College Carpentry Students and Faculty while enjoying local food created by Chef Michael Sterpin, Chef Brad Watt and Chef Kevin McKenna, working alongside Fleming College Culinary Students, live music, and good company.

Admission is free but you must register. Upon registering, your name will be included in a draw for 1 of 5 spots on the VIP Sneak Peak Tour of the Barn before its grand opening.

Gates will open at 11:00 AM, with welcoming remarks at 12:00 PM.
